Be sure to view, Sullivan Tower by Jo Kley from Germany. It is a granite sculpture created by Kley at the Schoodic International Sculpture Symposium in 2014 and is one of a collection of tower-shaped sculptures, erected in more than 15 countries. “I chose the shape of a tower as a universal icon, that is understood by any society and race. In many ways, I suppose, all towers can be viewed as an archetypal desire to get closer to divinity, to reach eternity, and to partake in progress.” Read more on the Schoodic Sculpture Trail link.
