Skatepark Renovation Project

This project will include construction of a 7,500 square foot concrete skatepark, comprised of an L shaped bowl, (3 feet deep in the shallow end, 6 feet deep in the deep end), and a 3 foot deep, curved, banked area, encircling skate able architecture such as rails, concrete and granite benches, steps and curbs, also known as a “street plaza”. This will be constructed in the general footprint of the existing skatepark. This project involves other physical improvements and upgrades made to existing facilities: In addition, the existing basketball court will be resurfaced and requirements necessary for pickleball will be incorporated. The existing green space will be improved to be leveled and to remediate any drainage concerns. New physical improvements to the project area include adding shaded picnic tables, walkways to improve accessibility throughout the area, and the installation of electrical access points. Parking currently exists at the project site.
